The Sliding Ladder Step c/w ‘Pop-Up’ Handrail combines a sturdy access platform with a convenient retractable handrail, providing additional stability and support during vehicle access. The sliding design allows the step to be deployed when required and securely stowed when not in use

Operator safety is at the heart of the Escalier design. A heavy-duty safety-yellow pull handle is provided to encourage two-handed operation during both deployment and stowing, helping to promote controlled use and reduce the risk of misuse

The lower tread has also been carefully reduced in width to minimise the potential for finger-trap incidents, providing an enhanced level of protection during everyday operation

Safe Use:

When climbing or working from a ladder, operators should maintain three points of contact at all times — either two hands and one foot, or two feet and one hand, maintaining three points of contact provides greater stability and helps reduce the risk of slips, trips, and falls

Always ensure the access area is clear, secure, and free from hazards before climbing or descending. The step and handrail should be fully deployed and correctly positioned before use
