7 Core Auto Cable
Thin-Wall automotive cables are manufactured in accordance with ISO 6722:2006 (Class B) and are rated for operation at 105°C
Produced using high-temperature hard-grade PVC insulation, these cables provide significant reductions in both weight and overall cable size compared with traditional automotive cables
Thin-Wall cable has replaced the older PVC cables manufactured to BS 6862, which had a lower 70°C temperature rating and are no longer supported by the BSI
Key benefits of Thin-Wall automotive cable include:
- Higher current-carrying capacity in smaller cable sizes
- Reduced weight and improved space efficiency
- Enhanced abrasion resistance
- Improved performance in high-temperature automotive environments
The conductor specifications shown below represent typical configurations. Actual conductor strand construction may vary slightly, however, all cables will comply with the specified electrical resistance requirements
