Vari-Force Compression Gas Springs provide adjustable force, allowing the spring pressure to be reduced to suit your specific application

Available in 650N and 1200N force options, they offer a flexible solution where the required operating force may need to be fine-tuned during installation

Each gas spring features a gas release valve at the lower end of the body, allowing gas to be safely released to reduce the operating force. This makes it easy to fine-tune the spring, reducing the force required to compress or extend the unit and ensuring optimal performance for your application

Adjustable Force:

To reduce the gas spring force, simply loosen the valve lock screw using the supplied Allen key until you hear gas escaping. Immediately re-tighten the screw and test the unit

Only a very small amount of gas needs to be released to significantly reduce the spring pressure

Important: Extreme care must be taken when adjusting the gas pressure. Always follow the enclosed instructions and installation guidance. Failure to do so may result in damage or invalidate the product warranty.

End Fittings:

All Vari-Force Gas Springs are supplied with eye-end fittings, available with either 8mm or 10mm fixing holes.

Ball joint end fittings are also available separately:
