Hinged sideguard legs are the most commonly used solution for vehicle lateral protection systems, the design allows the retaining pin to be quickly removed, enabling the leg to pivot on its fixed bolt, this makes it easy to lift the sideguard clear of the underside of the vehicle when access is required, once positioned at the desired angle or height, the retaining pin is simply reinserted to secure the leg in place
