The ASGK990 Series Adjustable Support Beam provides a robust and versatile chassis-mounted support solution for commercial vehicle sideguard systems

Designed for use with ASGK990 Series hinged sideguard legs and rails, it is ideally suited to refrigerated vehicles, tippers and applications where conventional hinged legs cannot be mounted

Featuring an adjustable, cut-to-length support beam, the system can be adapted to suit individual chassis requirements, offering greater installation flexibility across a range of commercial vehicle applications

Finished with an Armour-Tech 600 (AT600) surface coating, the support beam provides enhanced corrosion protection and has been tested to withstand 600 hours or more of salt spray exposure, making it suitable for demanding operating environments

When used in conjunction with ASGK990 Series hinged sideguard legs and rails, and installed in accordance with UNECE Regulation No. 73, the system complies with the applicable mandatory requirements of Whole Vehicle Type Approval

What's Included:

1 × Chassis Bracket: 150mm wide × 100mm deep × 200mm long
1 × Support Beam: 53mm wide × 50mm deep × 900mm long, designed to be cut down to the required length

Important Installation Requirements - Maximum Recommended Beam Spacing

• Without infill panels: Maximum recommended beam spacing is 2000mm
• With infill panels: Maximum beam spacing must be reduced to 1500mm
• The addition of infill panels significantly increases the loads imposed on the sideguard system, excessive beam spacing may increase stresses within the steel members, accelerate fatigue and compromise the structural integrity of the installation over its service life

Compliance with these spacing requirements is essential to maintaining the structural performance and safety of the system

Please note that the hinged leg is not included with the support beam. Compatible ASGK990 Series Hinged Sideguard Legs must be purchased separately
